Zelensky was warmly welcomed to Congress as part of his first trip outside Ukraine since the Russian invasion of his country began on February 24. Speaking before a joint session of Congress, Zelensky thanked the American people for their support, and paid tribute to lawmakers from both parties who have provided support to Ukraine.
