When diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago she embraced every form of treatment— immunotherapy, radiation, chemo. And it worked. For a while. Until it didn’t. But the lessons are there. You do the right things in life because they are the right things to do in life. Not because there are guarantees. But because as a parent and as a leader, the odds always matter. Because you are a role model. And because you are smart and courageous to your core.
