Fox News will host its next Democratic town hall with Pete Buttigieg
Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, speaks during his official presidential campaign launch announcement Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg has agreed to appear in an hour-long live town hall on Fox News, the network announced Tuesday. The town hall, moderated by Chris Wallace, will air at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 19 and feature a live audience in Claremont, New Hampshire.
When Fox hosted a town hall with Sen. Bernie Sanders, it was admittedly an odd mix, with Sanders himself telling moderator Bret Baier"your network does not necessarily have a great deal of respect in my world...but I thought it was important for me to be here and have a serious discussion about serious issues."
