It is here where young aviators will learn the history of Army Aviation and apply it to future operations.”The major benefit of the Training Support Facility is that now we have a historical venue for training our soldiers,” Robert Mitchell, the museum’s director, said. “We believe this will improve the employment of these systems, their faith in the equipment the Army gives them and resiliency in accomplishing their missions,” Charles Bowery, the executive director of the U.S. Army Center of Military History, said.Mitchell says history has always been a point of emphasis for this branch.

Fort Novosel-Wiregrass AUSA Chapter Association of the U.S. Army LuncheonThe Fort Novosel-Wiregrass AUSA Chapter Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) general membership luncheon will be held on April 11th at the Enterprise Civic Center. The keynote speaker will be Maj. Gen. Michael C. McCurry, Commanding General of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Novosel.
