Former Michigan State Dean William Strampel, longtime boss of convicted sexual abuser Larry Nassar, was sentenced to a year in jail
Dr. Strampel, former dean of Michigan State’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was accused in March 2018 of soliciting sexual acts from students, and of not supervising Mr. Nassar while the sports-medicine doctor was under investigation for sexual misconduct.
