Officers on Sunday became aware of a sexual assault that occurred late last year involving Scott Boneta, the department said in. “Detectives with the Special Victim’s Unit immediately began a comprehensive criminal investigation,” police said. Former APD officer Scott Boneta was arrested Oct. 1, 2023 and charged with sexual assault and other charges.
