’s Forces of Fashion conference will return this fall with in-person events taking place in New York, Mexico City, Mumbai, and, for the first time, Shanghai and Rome. The New York summit, which will take place on October 19, offers attendees unprecedented access toand its editorial staff. The day’s events will be hosted at the magazine’s headquarters at One World Trade Center.
Forces of Fashion will feature a mix of conversations, panels, and hands-on masterclasses with editors, designers, influencers, executives, and other fashion industry professionals. The hosts of the day will be’s Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle. The event will begin with opening remarks from Anna Wintour, Condé Nast chief content officer andglobal editorial director.
In case that wasn’t enough, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners will be announced live at Forces for the first time. This year marks the first time, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, that the program returns to its original competition format and culminates with awarding a winner $300,000 and two runner-ups $100,000. The CFDA/Fashion Fund was established shortly after 9/11 to help emerging designers and cultivate the next generation of American fashion talent.
