An evacuation center in Barangay Talaba 3, Bacoor, Cavite , was flooded in the early hours of September 2, 2024 because of Tropical Storm Enteng. A video circulated online showing the situation at the center.Floodwaters entered the center around 1 a.m., forcing the evacuees to relocate to a different shelter.Haidee Ocampo, a pregnant resident who was displaced by a fire in August, described their situation: "Nangyari po yung baha around 1 a.m.
She and her family had stayed at the evacuation center after the fire destroyed their home in Barangay Sapote 3.The evacuees have since been moved to another evacuation center in Barangay Molino 1. When asked about their current situation, Ocampo said their condition has improved slightly compared to that in the previous shelter.
