A mass shooting at a Colorado gay club that was hosting a drag show on Saturday night left at least 5 dead and 18 injured.
At least five people were killed and 18 injured in a shooting a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs that was described as a “hate attack.”
“They did locate one individual who we believe to be the suspect inside,” Colorado Springs Police Lt. Pamela Castro told the press. “At this point in time, the suspect is being treated, but is in custody.” It went on: “Our prays [sic] and thoughts are with all the victims and their families and friends. We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.”
