Gov. Wes Moore says 75 containers were transported by train after a cargo ship bound for Baltimore was diverted to New York.during Thursday's media briefing as 75 shipping containers arrived at the Port of Baltimore. He said the containers were unloaded off of a ship in the Port of New York and New Jersey and transported by train to the Seagirt Marine Terminal. That ship was originally bound for Baltimore, but diverted due to last week's"This is not a permanent solution.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott also announced $433,000 has been raised to create a special relief fund for victim's families. The U.S. Coast Guard reported seven commercial ships are still stranded in Baltimore as crews continue to try and open a channel. "First, we need to give closure to these families. Second, we need to clear the channel and open vessel traffic to the port," Moore said."Third, we need to take care of all the people who have been affected by this crisis.
