Five more cases of fireworks-related injuries were recorded by the Department of Health , the agency said on Friday, Dec. 30.“Since yesterday, Dec. 29, five new cases of fireworks-related injuries have been recorded from the 61 DOH sentinel hospitals,” the DOH said in an update posted on its official social media page.

“Currently, the total number of cases of firecracker injuries is 41, which is 52 percent higher than what was recorded last year on the covered date,” it added.
