According to Col. Renato Ocampo, city police chief, the fire started at around 2:30 p.m. at Lorenzana Compound, San De Coastal, Barangay San Dionisio. Ocampo said members of the San Dioniso Substation immediately responded to give area security and assist the firefighters.As of this writing, the fire has been put under control.
The city police chief said the Bureau of Fire and Protection are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause and cost of damages of the fire. Ocampo said the BFP is also still determining whether there were injured persons or fatalities in the incident.
