The fashion designer from Iloilo was known for his elegant bridal pieces and use of prints in his creations
The fashion industry mourns today the passing of Eric Delos Santos. The news of his demise was confirmed by his niece, young artist Katelyn Miñoso, through a social media post.
"I had a knack for numbers, but my heart was into fashion," he told Manila Bulletin columnist Jane Kingsu-Chengh."I took over my mom’s position and managed a tailoring business and a furniture store, which lead me to become a designer. I’ve realized that I’m more of an entrepreneur, and it’s great that I can help my workers earn a living, too!”
Apart from dressing celebrities, Eric also made a name for himself in bridal fashion. In 2014, he launched a bridal collection in collaboration with the ready-to-wear brand Karimadon.
