A man was hospitalized with a severe laceration after the street fight, Jackson police said.
One man was arrested and another injured after a fight in the street involving a machete and a beach chair in Jackson last week, authorities said.Jackson policeThe fight broke out shortly before 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on East Pleasant Grove Road as a result of an ongoing feud involving Ogle and several other people, according to police.
A man drove to the house to confront Ogle, who was inside, police said. Ogle then exited the house and grabbed a machete that was in a car parked in the driveway. Meanwhile, the other man pulled a beach chair out of the trunk of the car he arrived in as he and Ogle began swinging the items at each other in the street, police said.
Another man came out of the house and kicked the man fighting Ogle in the head, authorities said. A woman in the car that arrived was also pulled from the vehicle, thrown to the ground and assaulted.The man who arrived at the house to confront Ogle was brought to area hospital with a severe laceration, authorities said.
