MAYOR John Dalipe thanks participants and guests of Fiesta na Isla de Santa Cruz, a summer festival activity of Zamboanga City. Mayor John Dalipe led the kick off of the event which included beach sport activities, games, and other fun challenges.
The activities were held in the pink sands of Santa Cruz Island, tagged as one of the world’s beaches by National Geographic. Dalipe invited residents and local and foreign visitors to join the city’s summer festival activities and enjoy the city’s culture, heritage, and attractions. Aside from the Verano festival, the local government also held a rave party at the Paseo del Mar on Friday, April 28.
The summer festival activities are spearheaded by the Zamboanga city government through the City Tourism Office.
