The video comes as the latest in a trend on TikTok of delivery-themed posts, documenting the different and shocking methods employed by drivers.
In June 2020, a man named Gabe White shared a video online comparing the difference between his FedEx and USPS drivers, with a clear contrast between the approaches. The footage from his doorbell camera begins with a delivery driver, who the homeowner claimed to be a FedEx worker, delivering a large parcel. The box was simply dropped straight onto the patio, before the driver swiftly walked off.
A USPS driver arrived later, while it was raining. The driver could be heard saying:"Jesus, they just threw that on the floor." He then places his parcel in the corner of the patio, before moving the other deliveries out of the rain and into a safer place. "I wanted to acknowledge the great customer service from the USPS driver and share the contrast between the two deliveries," White told"We all have bad days where we aren't at our best. There was no damage to the contents of the box that was dropped, although it is a little shocking to see. I have no interest in shaming anyone, I would rather focus on the positive experience with the second driver," he said.
