In its latest bulletin, the DA said the number of affected farmers in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Caraga rose to 3,679 also on Friday, from 2,303 as of Thursday.The volume of production loss was estimated at 2,035.4 metric tons covering 4,315 hectares of agricultural areas.
“Affected commodities include rice, corn, livestock and poultry. Additional damage and losses are expected in areas affected by Egay,” it added.
