Vice President KamalaHarris called for more 'faith in each other, in our nation, and in our future' while meeting with religious leaders about abortion, but she did not make any mention of God.
Harris was in Los Angeles, California, on Monday to meet with religious and faith leaders during a roundtable discussion, which she held to address “protecting reproductive rights [and] addressing the epidemic of hate that is gripping our nation.”
Religious leaders in attendance reportedly included those from Christianity, Judaism, and Sikhism. Sen. Alex Padilla , Rep. Jimmy Gomez , Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis , and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, a Democrat, also were in attendance.
