Weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Friday afternoon showed that the potential low pressure area circulation south of Mindanao will not yet affect the country’s landmass as of now.It may start bringing rains by next week, if it moves closer to Mindanao, but as of now, no LPA or tropical cyclone was spotted inside the Philippine area of responsibility.

For Saturday, Pagasa said that temperatures may still be relatively lower due to the amihan, ranging from 19 to 30 degrees Celsius over Tuguegarao; 21 to 30 degrees in Laoag; 13 to 20 degrees in Baguio; 20 to 30 degrees in Metro Manila and Tagaytay; 23 to 30 degrees in Legazpi; and 24 to 30 degrees in Puerto Princesa.
