While Facebook’s new focus revolves around safety and security, its innovations could make users more vulnerable

But while Facebook’s new focus revolves around safety and security, its innovations could make users all the more vulnerable. To be fair, these policies seem to be at least in line with those of Amazon’s Alexa. In its privacy settings, Amazon says it manually reviews an “extremely small fraction of voice recordings” made over the device.
On Wednesday, Facebook kicked off its sixth annual Oculus Connect conference, which focuses on the company’s innovations in virtual and augmented reality. In his keynote speech, Mr. Zuckerberg said he is particularly excited about brain computing.
