In a preview provided to Screen Rant, Stranger Things: The Voyage #1 by Michael Moreci and Todor Hristov begins out in the Bering Sea where Captain Jacoby of The Persephone is facing pushback from his crew for the new passengers the ship has just picked up.Tempers flare between the crew and the Russian passengers and Jacoby is failing to keep order. Thankfully, the Russians' lieutenant keeps order among her men and invites Jacoby to join her for a drink.
The preview of Stranger Things: The Voyage #1 doesn't give too much away in terms of how it ties into the universe's larger mythos. The Persephone does appear to be heading to the Kamchatka Peninsula, the area where Jim Hopper was held prisoner in a labor camp. The peninsula was also where a previous tie-in book, Stranger Things: Kamchatka, was set.
