Ex-Mets reliever retires at the age of 33
Drafted by the Phillies in the fourth round of the 2008 Draft, May began his MLB career with the Twins, where he pitched six seasons before signing with the Mets. After two seasons with New York, the 34-year-old signed with the Athletics, where he pitched just one season before officially retiring.
