Former New York Mets manager Buck Showalter is returning to MLB Network as an in-studio analyst for the upcoming 2024 season.Showalter had spent the previous two seasons as Mets manager, going 176-148 across two seasons which included a 101-win 2022 — the second-best regular season in franchise history.
With a coaching career that has spanned 22 seasons across four different decades, Showalter’s 1,727 wins ranks 19th in Major League Baseball history.Pantorno is the executive sports editor of amNewYork — a position he has held since January 2020. He covers the New York Mets and New York Islanders while overseeing day-to-day operations of the department.
