Hostetter, who acted as his own lawyer, will be sentenced on Oct. 13.
former La Habra police chief-turned-yoga instructor and conservative activistHostetter, who acted as his own lawyer, was found guilty on Thursday, July 13 of obstructing an official proceeding, Scott MacFarlane of CBS News reports on Twitter.
Hostetter in May filed a lengthy motion listing dozens of pages of questions, starting with “What if everything we were ever taught about our history, our government, and the world in which we live is a lie?” Some of his questions seemed to have nothing to do with Jan. 6. At one point Hostetter wrote, “Do we now know our own government assassinated JFK?” In another portion of the filing he asked, “What are some occult symbols and meanings of the 1939 movie, ‘Wizard of Oz?’ “Hostetter will be sentenced on Oct 13. The judge is allowing him to return home to Southern California until then, according to MacFarlane.
