He spent five seasons with the Cowboys before signing with Chicago and being named a captain before his arrest.

The receiver left the Dallas Cowboys to sign a three-year deal with the Chicago Bears in July, and they subsequently named him their special teams captain.

Well, while he was on the Bears roster in 2011, federal agents said an undercover agent met Hurd at a steakhouse as part of a sting operation. They reportedly discussed the agent buying as much as 10 kilos of cocaine from Hurd per week at $25,000 per kilo. They agreed to the deal, and the agents then arrested Hurd in the parking lot.
