A FORMER prisoner died after being shot past 9 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, along V. Rama Avenue, in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.The victim was identified by a relative as 32-year-old local resident Jonathan Plarisan Nacional.Nacional succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds in the body.Some witnesses identified the attacker as a certain Irish.
According to them, the victim was shot several times by Irish as he crossed the street.The relatives immediately called for assistance but the victim was already dead when the ambulance arrived.The Scene of the Crime Operation recovered from the crime scene four empty shells of .45 pistol, which were submitted to the PNP Forensic Unit for examination.The Sawang Calero police station is still looking into the crime's motivation and the identity of the suspect.
