Fans got their first glimpse of the series starring Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie in a Super Bowl trailer.
Following the release of the Disney+ Marvel trailer, the Mouse House released the first synopsis for the series, which read:"Following the events of, Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios'. The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is the head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this fall.
In the trailer, we see Sam take Captain America's shield from a tree, representing the fact that Falcon has been made the new Captain America after Steve Rogers handed the title to him in. We also see Bucky put a gun in Zemo's face, only for all the bullets to fall out, suggesting the villain may have some new telekinetic powers.writer Derek Kolstad did reveal one storyline on Twitter.
