A bronze medalist in the Tokyo edition in the men’s 75kg class, Marcial moved up to the 80kg after his weight class was scrapped in the Paris Games. With messages of support pouring in in the comment section, Marcial replied and vowed to bounce back once he fully heals from the injury. Marcial, however, is at the crossroads of his career as he tries to weigh in whether he would still compete for a spot in the 2028 LA Olympics or will just focus on his budding professional career.
