Senate President Francis ''Chiz'' Escudero said that the Marcos administration's priority bills would be tackled before lawmakers go on a break at the end of the month.In a radio interview on Saturday, Escudero said that they were able to tackle 7 to 8 bills endorsed by the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council .This made him confident that the Senate would be able to finish the remaining bills within the 9 remaining session days.Escudero did not identify them.
“Konti na lamang naman 'yung naiiwan at siguro mga tatlo o apat pa dun sa mga LEDAC certified bills ang mahahabol namin bago mag-adjourn ang Kongreso itong Setyembre,” he said.Both the Senate and House of Representatives will have their last session day on September 27. Sessions will resume on November 3.
