Obituary: Eric Pleskow, a World War II refugee from Austria, ran major U.S. movie studios and was involved in making 'Rocky' and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest'
Eric Pleskow, a Viennese-born Jewish refugee from Nazi rule who served as a top executive at U.S. movie studios United Artists Corp. and Orion Pictures Corp., died Tuesday at his home in Stamford, Conn. He was 95.
In a career spanning more than four decades, Mr. Pleskow was involved in making award-winning movies including “Rocky,” “Annie Hall” and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
