Tropical storm ‘Enteng’ continues to gather strength as it moves westward at 25 kilometers per hour , the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its latest weather advisory.
As of 11:00 AM on Tuesday, ‘Enteng’ remains on track of developing into severe tropical storm over the next 12 hours. It is forecast to leave the Philippine area of responsibility by tomorrow morning. The storm may end up in southern mainland China this weekend, according to PAGASA. The eye of the storm was estimated based on all available data at 100 km west northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. It had maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h.
