"Wait… what do you know about Hillary Clinton?" comedian Tim Young"The Clintons" began trending on Twitter, in part due to Musk's tweet, which garnered more than 52,000 "retweets" Sunday night.from John McAfee on Oct. 15, 2020, in which the computer programmer and anti-virus software producer stated that he had no intentions of committing suicide after he was arrested in Spain on tax evasion charges.
"I am content in here. I have friends. The food is good. All is well. Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine," McAfee tweeted. McAfee was found dead on June 23, 2021, of apparent suicide by hanging in his cell shortly after the Spanish National Court authorized his extradition to the U.S.
Yet unlike McAfee and Epstein, Musk has not been arrested and is not in prison. From context, it seems Musk was not referring to the Clintons as a potential threat to his life, but rather the Russian government.
