Eisler Capital places bets linked to China recovery -letter
LONDON - Hedge fund Eisler Capital marked a 5.54% positive performance for the year to the end of September, it said in a letter to investors, with its bets hinging on China's economic recovery.
"The team believe that market sentiment on China appears to have pivoted, as the accumulative piece-meal stimuli of the Chinese government starts to take effect," the letter seen by Reuters on Thursday said. The International Monetary Fund warned on Oct. 13 that China's embattled recovery and the risk of a more protracted property crisis could further dent Asia growth.
