LUCENA CITY — Eight drug suspects who yielded more than P145,000 worth of “shabu” and an illegal firearm have been arrested during separate buy-bust operations in the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, and Rizal.
In a report, the Police Regional Office 4A said the Batangas City drug enforcement unit collared Briener Salazar and Russel Salazar, whose personal relationship was not specified, in Barangay Cuta at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday.The suspects, both classified as “HVI” or high-value individuals in the local drug scene, yielded three sachets of shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P68,000.
In Dasmariñas City, Cavite, police officers busted alleged marijuana peddlers Joshua Ramos and Renalyn Bautista in Barangay Paliparan 3 at 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday.
