President Rodrigo Duterte will attend the inauguration of his daughter, Vice President-elect Sara Duterte, in Davao City, Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco said on Monday.
GMA News Online asked Frasco, the incoming vice president's spokesman, if Duterte will attend the inauguration on June 19.There is no information yet whether Duterte's running mate in the elections, President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., will attend the inauguration.
The inauguration will be held at San Pedro Square starting at 3 p.m. and will end at 11 p.m. The public will be allowed in the area beginning at 2 p.m. The event will start with a thanksgiving Mass at 3 p.m. at the San Pedro Cathedral to be attended by Archbishop Romulo Valles.
