MANILA, Philippines — Supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte,a medical practitioner and the grandson of the late 'King of Philippine movies' Fernando Poe Jr. were among those who filed their certificates of candidacy (CoCs) before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) stationed at the Manila Hotel on Thursday.
MANILA, Philippines — Supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte ,a medical practitioner and the grandson of the late 'King of Philippine movies' Fernando Poe Jr. were among those who filed their certificates of candidacy before the Commission on Elections stationed at the Manila Hotel on Thursday.Senators Ronald dela Rosa and ChristopherGo on Thursday filed their CoCs for reelection in the upcoming national and local elections set for May 12, 2025.
Wilbert Lee, who filed his CoC on Tuesday.Ong and Lee are both on the senatorial slate of the Aksyon Demokratiko party of former Manila mayor Francisco Domagoso, who will be attempting a comeback.According to his lawyer, Ong is in Singapore for treatment for sarcoma cancer and will return to the country in November.
