The 100-page one-shot features two brand-new stories, each set before the events of the upcoming film and starring Honor Among Thieves' characters.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The book’s lead-off story 'The Feast of the Moon' finds a band of adventurers, including Edgin, Holga, Forge and Simon, stumbling into a village of dwarves plagued by bandits. Taking up the dwarves' cause, Edgin and his merry band soon find themselves facing not only bandits but a ghost dragon as well. The second story, 'Xenk and the Helmet of Disjunction,' introduces the Paladin Xenk, another of the film’s primary characters.
Feast of the Moon Is the Perfect Prequel The Feast of the Moon serves as the perfect prequel to Honor Among Thieves, establishing the characters and the world they live in. The title story is a fun romp, full of clever twists and turns and both Lambert and Ferigato capture not only the actors' likeness but their mannerisms as well; readers can almost hear Chris Pine’s voice speaking Edgin’s dialogue.
It is an exciting time to be a Dungeons and Dragons fan. The game has experienced a surge in popularity in recent years. Honor Among Thieves is set to be the opening shot in a new, live-action Dungeons and Dragons initiative; currently, a still-untitled television show is planned to air on the Paramount + streaming service.
