The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to provide assistance to families and individuals affected by the heavy rains brought by the shear line and northeast monsoon.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development continues to provide assistance to families and individuals affected by the heavy rains brought by the shear line and northeast monsoon.

The DSWD said that the shear line and northeast monsoon affected 34,751 families or 133,443 people in the three regions. Of those affected, the DSWD said that 12,154 families or 51,386 people are currently living in 142 evacuation centers in the affected regions.
