Around 8:50 p.m. Aug. 6, a woman and her husband reported that a drunken man had walked up to them while they were in their yard and said he was looking for a friend.
Responding officers found the man on Cedar Road. It was learned that he was working at a job site in Chesterland and had walked away after having an argument with a co-worker.
Paramedics assessed the Chippewa Lake man, 42, and subsequently took him to Hillcrest Hospital for an evaluation. His mother was contacted and advised of his whereabouts.A motorist requested Aug. 13 that officers check on a woman riding a bike up the hill on the roadway.A resident was out for a walk Aug. 15 and noticed a vehicle with two broken windows parked on the roadway.
Responding officers learned that the vehicle belonged to an employee of a landscaping crew. He said the damage was old.Officers checked on a man walking near West Hill Drive Aug. 16 and confirmed he was OK. They gave him a courtesy ride to his home.Police and fire units responded to a fire alarm at the Gilmour Academy Athletic Center Aug. 19. The alarm was found to be caused by a malfunction in the system.A water main break occurred near the Cleveland Metroparks entrance Aug.
