Driver of SUV in deadly Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy reportedly identified as Darrell Brooks
The city of Waukesha, a suburb of Milwaukee, was celebrating its annual Christmas parade Sunday when a red SUV barreled down the parade route, striking multiple people, according to videos posted of the incident online.
Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson said during a press conference that an officer with six years on the force fired his weapon in an attempt to stop the vehicle after it crashed through barricades.
