KIRO 7 News StaffA suspect is in custody after a motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night, the police department announced.
According to APD, the suspect hit and killed the male motorcyclist at the intersection of South Peasley Canyon Road and West Valley Highway South around 9:15 p.m. Just before 10 p.m., police announced that they’d found the suspect’s car and the driver was in custody. Northbound lanes of West Valley Highway South and westbound lanes of South Peasley Canyon Road are open, but southbound lanes of West Valley Highway South are closed in the area as police investigate.
