Beachwood police arrested a Cleveland woman for stealing two eyeglass frames worth more than $700.
: Beachwood police blotterAt 3:35 p.m. Oct. 11, an officer stopped a car due to its illegally tinted windows and a failure on the driver’s part to signal before turning. A search of the car revealed marijuana and several bottles of promethazine, a medication used to manage and treat allergic conditions, nausea and vomiting, motion sickness, and sedation.
Because the driver has not been charged, police would not reveal his or her age, gender or city. The driver faces possible charges of marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance, and citations for the illegally tinted windows and failure to signal.At 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13, police arrested a Cleveland woman, 43, for the theft of two eyeglass frames from Lens Crafters at Beachwood Place mall, 26300 Cedar Road.At 3:55 p.m. Oct.
