Love team Donny Pangilinan and Bellle Mariano, popularly known as DonBelle, shared what it was like portraying their characters and the story behind their first primetime series"Can't Buy Me Love."
"People might expect a rom-com here, which it is, but that's not the only thing that this story has, it's so much more than that," Panglinan told CNN Philippines'"Can't Buy Me Love" tells the story of Bingo , who's working hard to provide for his loved ones, and Caroline , a Chinese woman from a wealthy family.
Mariano said the series revolves around a rich girl meeting a guy from Binondo"and from two different worlds, how they will make things work." The fans should also expect a bit of mystery and twists, she added. Both actors said it was the first time for them to play the roles they are portraying in the TV series.
"I just love the fact that I'm able to portray someone who's so far from me in real life," Pangilinan said."Can't Buy Me Love" was directed by Mae Cruz Alviar.
