The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday recorded 848 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total nationwide COVID-19 tally to 3,700,876.
Based on the DOH’s latest data, the country’s active cases increased to 6,761 from 6,425 on Saturday.According to the DOH, the regions with the most cases in the last two weeks were the National Capital Region with 3,701, followed by Calabarzon with 1,302, and Central Luzon with 650.
The Health Department said at least 17,193 individuals were tested, while 308 testing labs submitted data on June 25. The DOH noted that the bed occupancy in the country was 17.7%, with 5,270 beds occupied, while 24,431 were vacant.
