The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday reported 373 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 3,678,968.
The top regions with cases in the last two weeks were the National Capital Region with 1,623, followed by Region 4A with 627 and Region 6 with 464.
At least 3,582,529 individuals recovered from the disease, while the country’s death toll climbed to 59,324. On April 1, a total of 20,030 people were tested for COVID-19, with 309 testing facilities reporting data. Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police on Saturday reported no new COVID-19 infections among its personnel.The number of recoveries stayed at 48,729. One more fatality was added to the death toll, which is now 129. —
