Telecommunications companies DITO Telecommunity Corp. and Smart Communications Inc. are offering “rewards” for their subscribers and potential customers who will successfully register their Subscriber Identity Module cards beginning Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
In an advisory, DITO said subscribers who will successfully register their SIM cards will receive 2-gigabyte bonus data. In a separate advisory, Smart said its prepaid and TNT subscribers can get a 3 GB free data upon completing the SIM registration process., with several Filipino subscribers already trying to register their own SIM cards.for the implementation of the SIM Card Registration Act, but expect birthing pains in the initial stages.
