Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to build an 800,000-square-foot regional distribution center in Fort Worth.
The Pittsburgh, Pa.-based chain said the project is expected to bring 300 full-time jobs to the region over the next 10 years. The next-generation facility will support Dick’s business in Texas and provide distribution capabilities to more than 100 of its stores across several states, according to a news release.“We’re thrilled to announce our plans to build and open a distribution center in Fort Worth,” Sean Whitehouse, Dick’s senior vice president of supply chain, said in a statement.
Kris Bjorson, Jamie Galati and Blake Rogers of JLL represented Dick’s Sporting Goods and Reid Goetz, Samuel Rhea, and Jack Barkley represented Hillwood in the transaction.The Fort Worth location joins Dick’s existing distribution network that includes facilities in Atlanta, Ga.; Conklin, N.Y.; Goodyear, Ariz.; Plainfield, Ind.; and Smithton, Penn.Here's a look at effective tips to bring employees back to the office, according to CBRE's Lenny Beaudoin..
