Mike DeWine.GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Tuesday touted the work of Garfield Heights police officials, who used state funds to cut violent crime and protect officers.
In August 2022, Garfield Heights received more than $1.3 million for advanced crime analysis and new technology to help identify repeat offenders and crime hotspots. DeWine spoke with Garfield Heights Mayor Matt Burke, Kaye and other city officials about the program.
