64 of the most beloved locally owned establishments battled it out in News4′s Restaurant Rumble 2024, all for bragging rights as the favorite eatery in the Wiregrass.
This year's Rumble came down to the Dothan bake shop and McLin's, last year's champion out of Daleville that has been a Wiregrass staple since the 1960s. DOTHAN , Ala. -
“I never thought it would blow up to be as big as it is today,” said Jolando Butler, Owner of Desserts by Jolando.Known for their cakes and other desserts, Butler says the recipes come from a few sources. Butler said watching his grandmother in the kitchen played a big role in his decision to start baking.
Butler said he could never see the Restaurant Rumble victory coming, but wanted to thank the people of the Wiregrass for the support and congratulate the other restaurants in the rumble.
