Choco Mucho's Des Cheng suffered an ACL tear on her right knee against Cignal in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference at the Ynares Center last Thursday, October 26.
The Flying Titans' management made the announcement on Saturday, October 28.'After careful review of her MRI results, our doctors have diagnosed that it is an ACL tear that will require surgery and rehabilitation,' wrote Choco Mucho in a statement.
'Management will ensure that Des is given the best possible treatment and medical care in order to get her back in fighting form.'Upon landing after an attack in the second set, Cheng went down and was subbed out, and did not play anymore.Cheng's overall recovery will keep her from playing the rest of the cutrent conference and possibly at least a couple more.
